Our lodge is situated in the Greater Kruger, which is made up of exclusive private game reserves that runs adjacent to the Kruger National Park. At Isambane we traverse  10,000 hectares where there is an opportunity to see the Big 5 and so much more. We accommodate our guests in private tents with incredible views, surrounded by the African bush and the sound of nature.

The African Lion
PANTHERA LEO

The African Lion (Panthera leo) is the largest catlike carnivore in Africa and the second largest in the world, besides the Tiger which you would find in India. Also, it is probably one of the most iconic and recognisable animals you would find on Safari while visiting Southern Africa.
